After departing the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta, we drifted south towards the International Airport for about 10 miles before setting down in an open area behind a factory. We landed within the perimeter of the fence but the manager of the facility was very friendly and unlocked the gates to let the clean-up crew vehicle in. This was a good landing spot compared to some other balloons who ended up in the middle of busy roads, tall buildings, and even one that wound up in a water canal. It takes a lot of practice and skill to be a balloon pilot! Thanks for watching.
